REFCOLD INDIA EMERSON AWARDS - an annual award competition jointly instituted by ISHRAE and Emerson, is seen by the talented professionals of the industry as a platform to achieve recognition and acclaim. In its short stint, it has become a barometer for excellence and outstanding achievement in the Refrigeration and Cold Chain Industry. The award focuses on all facets of the industry ranging from refrigeration technologies & cold chain technologies to cold chain infrastructure-related components like hard storage components, reefer trucks, IoT solutions, material handling systems, etc.

INNOVATIVE REFRIGERATION PLANTS / PROJECTS
This award category is open for Refrigeration Projects/Plants that have been set up anywhere in India during the past 5 years.
INNOVATIVE COLD CHAIN INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS
This award category is focusing on projects which pertain to the development of cold chain infrastructure such as pack houses, perishable processing centers, reefer vehicles, material handling, food tracing, IOT systems, etc. (Not restricted to refrigeration systems)
Innovative product displayed at venue
The award category is for innovative refrigeration or non-refrigeration products either manufactured or imported into India and presented/displayed at the exhibition. (Product has to be commercially available in the country)

THE PROCESS, SELECTION AND SHORT-LISTING
The awards will be bestowed upon the Project / Product that has demonstrated excellence by focusing on the innovator, energy efficiency, best practices in cold chain perishable handling /storage, product quality, and sustainability. In the process, these awards will help in showcasing projector a product that sets benchmarks for the industry. The winners of the REFCOLD INDIA EMERSON AWARDS should have demonstrated excellence in the project or product categories by exceeding exceptions in terms of performance, energy efficiency parameters & innovation. Each category will have a winner and runners-up.
These will be selected by an eminent panel of independent jury members. There is a simple application form to be filled in. From the nominations received up to 25th November 2022, the Award recipient will be adjudged on the basis of several parameters, which may involve a telephonic interview conducted by the REFCOLD committee.
It will shortlist eligible nominations for which more exhausted data will be collected and these will be presented to the jury for selecting the Winner & Runner-up. In respect of projects, the owner’s consent to participate in the award is essential. The owner should be willing to share data sought by the committee/jury and should also agree to a possible visit by the jury to the installation.
Awards will be presented at a grand function on 8th December 2022, the first day of the exhibition. In all matters related to the award, the decision of the ISHRAE Refrigeration committee and/or Jury will be final and binding.
